The abstract submission process is highly automated. All abstract submissions are through the ICAVS-6 website, however, authors can select either ICAVS-6 or 2DCOS-6 for the presentation.
There are several steps involved:
Author Identification: Authors are identified by email addresses, consequently each author or co-author must have a unique email address. Occasionally Cooresponding Authors use the same email address for all co-authors. This will not work on the current system.
Presenting Author: Once the abstract is submitted, only the Presenting Author may withdraw or edit an abstract.
The submitting author must log into the system. The author may log into the system before the submission process, or if the author is not logged in, then when abstract submission is started, you are sent to the login page. The most simple thing to do is go to the Abstract Submission Page.
If you do not have a login for the site, please go to Create a Login.
On the Login page

You may enter your email address or a login name you assigned from the profile page when you created your login. Your password must be entered, and if you have forgotten it, click on the "Reset It" link. A new password will be assigned and sent to your email address.
Once you are logged in you may go to the Abstract Submission first page, or if you went there initially, you will taken to it automatically.
